The Sequim Sunshine Festival focuses on one of Sequim’s best-known features- Sunshine!

The festival offers a variety of events including the Sun Fun Colour Run, Great Big Scavenger Hunt, Sunshine Cycle Tour, Beach Party, Illuminated Drone Show, Restaurant Crawl, art exhibits and projects, and plenty of music throughout the weekend. 

 

The event invites visitors to enjoy Sequim’s small-town charm and instills hope of the coming spring and summer seasons.  In a typically wet Western Washington, Sequim has an annual rainfall of just 16 inches.  That’s less than half of what Seattle gets and about the same as Los Angeles.  It might not always be sunny in Sequim, but the odds are better than anywhere else in the region.

 

The Sequim Sunshine Festival takes place annually in Sequim, Washington, located on the Olympic Peninsula, during the first weekend in March.  The festival brings relief from the winter blues with activities that focus on light, fun, physical activity, and positive energy for all ages.
